BOISEBOXES
Our Story

Giving Boxes a Second Life, Since 2020

Boise Boxes was founded on a simple observation: millions of perfectly good corrugated boxes are thrown away every year after a single use. We decided to change that — one box at a time, right here in the Treasure Valley.

Our Mission

Creating a Circular Economy for Corrugated Packaging

Our mission is to reduce packaging waste by keeping corrugated boxes in circulation for as long as possible. The average corrugated box can be reused 5 to 7 times before the fiber degrades — yet most boxes are discarded after a single use. That represents an enormous waste of energy, water, and raw materials.

We close the loop by buying used boxes from businesses, inspecting and grading them, refurbishing those that need repair, and reselling them to other businesses at a fraction of the cost of new packaging. When a box finally reaches the end of its structural life, we ensure it is recycled responsibly — never landfilled.

Every box we save from the waste stream means fewer trees cut down, less water consumed, and less carbon emitted. That is not just good for the planet — it is good for Boise businesses who save 30-50% on their packaging costs.

Our Core Values

These are not aspirations — they are the principles we apply to every decision, every order, and every customer interaction.

🌱

Sustainability First

Every decision we make starts with one question: does this reduce waste? From sourcing used boxes locally to optimizing delivery routes for lower emissions, sustainability is not a marketing buzzword — it is our operating principle.

🤝

Community Impact

We are a Boise business serving Boise businesses. We hire locally, source locally, and reinvest in the Treasure Valley. When local companies thrive with lower packaging costs, the entire community benefits.

Uncompromising Quality

Used does not mean unreliable. Every box in our inventory is inspected, graded, and backed by our quality guarantee. We built our reputation on consistency, and we protect it with every order we fill.

💡

Continuous Innovation

From our Eco Impact Calculator to our box buyback logistics system, we are always looking for smarter ways to extend box lifecycles, reduce friction for customers, and measure environmental impact with precision.
